Position: Sr. Telemarketing Sales Representative
Reporting to: Patrick Mayer, Director of Worldwide Sales Anticipated Start Date: 2/1/97 Position Description: We are looking for a sales person with three-to-five years experience, a strong telemarketing background, proven over-quota sales in high-tech industry, strong technical acumen, Internet software knowledge, a high level of prospecting account management and communication skills, plus a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The responsibilities would include: manage direct sales via the website and telephone and activities to exceed personal and team goals; develop and implement sales plans in coordination with product management; create demand for Andromedia's products and services through effective prospecting; sell into new and existing accounts; and, maintain a high level of technical proficiency with Andromedia's products & competition. High energy level and discipline for heavy prospecting and response activity into marketplace. Ability to excel in a rapidly changing industry.
